District administration uses smartphones for instant reporting of aanganwadi centers activities.
Aanganwadis serve as primary school centers operated in various towns and villages across India. While many provide the much needed grass-root level thrust on education, the overall functioning and maintenance of such centers is found to be lacking in general. In a bid to raise the compliance level and overall monitoring of such centers, the district administration of Jehanabad wanted implement a reporting system.
The goal was to use a quick mode of reporting so that supervisory staff could provide work reports quickly and easily. A ready solution for reporting was needed to get with the field inspection immediately. Bizframe's fieldreports software ( also called mobile inspector) was chosen for the work at hand.
Block level education officers and contract employees were asked to regularly monitor the attendance of techers and children and maintenance of the centers.
The reports were made available on an online portal with public access, so as to keep all records in public scrutiny. This greatly helped keep the centers checked and ensure due attendance of sevikas and sahayaks.
